Public Liability insurance

For your own personal protection it is highly recommended that you cover your self with Public Liability insurance cover and protect yourself against a possible civil law suit just in case you ever accidentally hit or injure some one on the golf course.

We all remember the story of that fateful day when we nearly had a disaster and Matt MacIsaac’s mate was hit by an errant golf ball.

It is definitely worth considering taking out some public liability golf insurance to ensure that you are protected if heaven forbid you were involved in an accident on the course.

In a recent case in Queensland an uninsured golf was sued for $2,600,000 for damages caused when his golf ball incapacitated another player.

It is not worth taking the risk when you can take out an insurance policy or a Golf Australia Handicap which will offer you peace at mind. A GA Handicap will allow you to enter competitions and provide insurance for your equipment and liability.

You will need to contact SportsCover for Public Liability Insurance or you can get an Official Handicap through SOGO for $120, RACV for $250, SGA Golf Club for $99 or many other places.
